Lauren Basom has always had a love of interior design, branding, and the written word. A graduate of The Ohio State University, she began her career as a public relations and marketing communications professional for a Fortune 100 healthcare company where she learned the fundamentals of building a brand. 

Having had the opportunity to work on both proactive marketing communication initiatives as well as reputation and crisis management for many well known global consumer-facing and hospital products for pediatric and adult segments for nearly a decade, Lauren left that role to have the freedom to explore more artistic pursuits.

Lauren began L Interiors after realizing a passion for commercial interior decorating. She particularly loves the challenge of communicating the essence of a business in a physical space through color, texture, design, and branding. Today Lauren enjoys working with her clients - coordinating finishes, lighting, art, and furnishings, as well as advising on essential brand elements - to inspire, delight, and comfort their patrons and patients.
